I bought my 2003 A4 Avant 1.8T 5-speed in October 2002. At that time there was a strike at the port and it took forever for my car to come (I already put down a deposit). I called every dealer around my area and no one had the exact car that I wanted. I waited for a month and couldn't wait anymore (I just came to this country and didn't have a car and it was very inconvenient) so I called the dealers again. Finally I found one at Beverly Hills Audi and it had every option that I wanted (premium, sport, bose, cold weather, xenon) but then I could not bargain on the price. I paid around USD$37,000 including tax. Did I pay too much? How much did everyone else paid?

Sounds like sticker. It's not like the dealer ripped you off. Most likely you paid MSRP and not over. Maybe not the best deal, but someone has to pay for the killer deals gotten by other people.

In any case, the deal has been inked, signed, and funded. Water under the bridge. Live and learn.
