i have received this e.mail from edmunds.com

what gives? is there going to be a 2005?

yeah there is going to be a 2005 ...
but as everyone said its odd that the 2004s have stopped production so early in the year...
maybe they have a lot on inventory... and they must have calculated that the by the time the 2005 are out... they would be able to sell all the 2004.

Something wrong here as Europe usually get the new model 1 year ahead of US!
Obviously Europe hasn't seen the 2005 model. The US then receives the old model for approximately another year before the new model shows up.
I could be related to the 5,000 workers VW recently laid off due to extremely slow sales.
