without the expense of a true BBK. I never track my car, and rarely drive aggressively, but now I know that I can stop when I need to. I also upgraded the line to Stoptech SS which I am sure helps. OEM rotors and pads seem to do the job well enough for me. If you are considering doing this, believe me you should.

I picked the calipers up used off of AZ for $230 - rotors and pads were from GVAparts.com

Default I actually bought a set of HP2's and sold them for these (more)

After researching brake options it seemed that for the cost (I got the B7 calipers for $70 more than the HP2's) it made more sense to get the B7's. A) they are newer = less wear and tear B) they are easily upgradeable with B6 S4 carriers C) I didn't want to run spacers on my USP wheels.

I had a B5 S4 and I can honestly say that the B7 brakes are easily as good as the HP's. B7 brakes are easy to source - keep your eyes on the classifieds if interested!

What caliper carriers did you use or are they a direct bolt on like the b5s4?

you need B7 A4 or S4 carriers as well, depending on what size rotor you want
