Putting "dead" spot mirror on your side mirror. Would that work?
Hi,
I have heated side mirrors. If I remember correctly they start to heat up automatically when the temp. falls below certain number (I don't remember what it's)...I want to put one of those small mirrors that help to see a "dead" spot, but my concern is that it might fall off when it's cold outside and the side mirror will heat up.
What 'ya all think? Has anybody tried it?
Thanks!

no unfortunately mine are not, but they do have the same for auto-dimming, just more expensive...
i think it's $250 for an auto-dimming, as opposed to $50 for a "regular" one...
installation is easy and you don't need to get a new housing for them, all Euro A4s come with that from the factory...
