Car is more fun with it. Resale value is higher. Safer in the wet.

Default Get it, nothing like a full-throttle full-boost (1.8T) start off the line w/ no wheel spin, (more)

Not to mention all the other benefits, wet handling improvement, no torque steer under heavy acceleration, trips to the mountains, etc.

Default Get it. I had a FWD A4; after about a year I wanted quattro...

...now with the S4, I don't know that I'll ever not buy an AWD car again. BTW, resale value of quattro is worth MORE than it costs to get.
