Not to go off on a rant but.....

i was looking for a 3.0L went there because that is where i got my last audi 6 years ago. My experience
- went there twice before i could even get someone to talk to me.
- salesman kept forgetting my name and even more incredibly that i had bought an audi from the same dealship before. "what was your last car?" over and over....
- He spent most of the time speaking to my girlfriend who happened to be with me.
- he tried to upsell me into a VW vetta...huh?
- when he told me about the fixed arrangement to go no lower than 1% below msrp with GTA dealers he did it in an arrogant manner ....even saying that he doesn't have to work to sell cars.
- on top of this the place is a dump...it looks like a used car dealership....a hard thing when you dropping >$50K on car.

Two weeks later i am at agincourt sipping a coffee and reserving a '03. I am not going to save any money but at least there is a chance i won't want to shower after being in the dealership.

/rant off

Default It's all about how you treat your customers...

Cookies or no cookies, I bought a 50k car. I did not expect to recieve anything from the dealership, but the cookies were kinda a slap on the face...

Someone who buys a freakin Jetta gets the same cookies.

Default Manager's offices look like CEO oak pannelled board rooms; my sales guy didn't even have a phone

Nor did he have a cubicle--just a desk out on the sales floor. Other sales people had offices with phones, computers, privacy. The dealership is so arrogant & hierarchical...like their entire business is premised on waiting for people stupid enough to pay list price to drop by and get their cars. Any new sales people treated like absolute ****. I wanted to buy from my sales guy because I felt sorry for the way he was treated, and he really tried, but couldn't do it.

180 degrees the opposite to how I would run a business, so I was happy to not buy there.

you make those offices sound like palaces. My favorite part was that they are so small that the back of the salesguys chair had rubbed a deep rut in the wall from spinning around. There was barely enough room in front of the messy desk (piled with old papers) for two chairs. I felt i was talking to a bailbondsman (not that i ever have...)

I just bought my A4 Avant fwd wagon at queensway and the only reason i did was cause my neighbour was a salesman there. They are currently remodeling the dealership, but your right about the salespeople there. I went in to buy a vw wagon a couple of years ago and was totally turned off by the salesman who didn't give me the time of day until i went up to him. I don't get my car until January, but what sold me on queensway as the valet service when i need to take my car in they will provide me with a loaner for as long as i own the car. Anybody use this at all?

new Audi guy.
