question about front end vibration when downshifting....
i've started to get a slight vibration through the floorboards when downshifting into third or second, most noticable from 3rd to 2nd when coming to a light, if moving fast you cannot notice it but at slower speeds it shakes the front a bit under the pedals. Never did it until recently. I am 100 miles out of warranty. Car was just at dealer for 50K and they didn't find anything wrong.
Also my car was improperly towed in NYC a few months ago with the back wheels on the hook and the fronts rolling...ahhh. Could this be related to the new vibration. The dealers all said my car was fine after the tow but symptoms might show up later. Any thoughts as to what can cause vibrations from downshifts and is this related to the tow? Thanks, Chris

Not sure about the towing but...
vibration and shifting may be related to a very worn or an out of adjustment snub mount...
Great time to upgrade the snub. Your symptoms sounded just like mine before the snub swap.
