I want to get the best price possible for an A4, all of you on this forum have provided me with some great information. I have one question. When calculating the total invoice price, after adding the base invoice price + the options + freight tax, do I then add a percentage over invoice (i.e. 4%) or do I add transport and prep and then the 4%. I want to go to the dealerships with a price in mind and a fair price to present to them. Also I'm in Canada, how much is transport and prep (around 900$ CDN?)

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated

You add the margin after the other fees. Don't know what the prep and delivery charge are in Canada.
