I'm trying to come up with a way to mount my garmin nuvi differently and thinking of the vent area. I want to have the wire go through the vent...but can I get the wire back somewhere? Where would it go if I fished my wire down there?

you can pop out the whole vent at once, just stick a screwdriver with a rag over it in the edge and the whole thin pops out in one piece. You will just need to drill a hole in it and you can fish the wire anywhere you would like, youll see what i mean after you pop the vent out.

Then I would assume that you could as well. It would just be a question of where the wires would end up. If you got an idea of where the vent ducts(?) go then I'm sure you could figure somehting out.

you'll have to pull the vent out and drill a little hole in the bottom.
