question.....is it possible to install the audi nav system in an A4 that did not come with Nav sys?

the color display, the integrated GPS antenna in your rear window, the wiring, and the CD unit all to be installed. Plus, you'll need whatever is used to get her pretty voice through the speakers to give you turn-by-turn directions and the 11 CDs that cover the US.
Just go w/an aftermarket DVD based system. It'd be cheaper and you'd get the map.

If you were looking at upgrading, check out the Nav+ which is available in Europe. IIRC, if you purchase from Ebay.de you're looking at around $1,200.
The downside is you lose the in dash cd changer.
