question for those who have bought from clairparts
I ordered a set of winter mats from them last wednesday or thursday (due to lots of time in the office, the days are starting to blend together...yay)...I recieved the confirmation email saying that they recieved my order. Will they email me to let me know when they have shipped my order, or is that an email to say hey, we got your order, it's been processed and should be at your door shortly. I've never bought from them before, so i wasn't sure what their practices were...thanks in advance.

No shipment notification; BUT, they are quick about getting things out the door...
provided it was in stock. The email you recieved has an order number that you can use to check current status by calling their toll-free number.

yea, they dont give out tracking numbers or tell you shipping currier. couldnt even give me doa
they ended up shipping ups and it took weeks for simple glove box changer harness!!! boo hoo clair!

I figured they were in stock if they didn't tell me in the email that the mats were backordered...thanks for the quick reply though...can't wait to get em!

can't vouch for their shipping but they got the order and processed it quickly, as I did it 20...
minutes before I left for Clair to get something checked out. Seems that most people on here are happy with their services, me included

i diddnt care tho. as long as i recieved it. i understand difficulties of logistics
im not sweatin it. id rather if product late then not at all. im thankful there is a place to go. with way things are now they are really one place to go...
but im pretty dissapointed about the 75%+ price jack of majority of their products.
ive resorted to purchasing from my inside employee form audi parts. now im gettin my stuff at cost =)

give them a call or send them an email to request your tracking number, i did and got it...
got my glove box a week or so after ordering it... it went out a day or two after i had placed my orders... they use UPS for shipping...
