I have the caractere roof spoiler and it came with glue but the glue is not really sticking. Should I use 3m tape? The only thing that i'm concerned about the 3m tape and that it would make the roof spoiler stick out too much and not flush with the car. Any suggestions?

I used some silicone adhesive and it is sticking to the glass very firmly
