I have the P0421 Bank 1 code and I need to replace the cat. I'm out of the 80k miles emissions warranty.

1. First of all, Bank 1 is the drivers side, correct?

2. What cat did you use for a replacement? The OEM is a lot of money and I want to go with something aftermarket. No HFC, and I want something that I'd be able to pass the emissions test with and have no check engine lights.

I found this on ebay:

and emailed them asking what brand is the cat. They said its a Catco. I went to a local shop and they advised me of not getting anything aftermarket cuz he said he's seen these go bad in 1-2 years. Does anyone have any experience with any after-market cats?
