Radio interference from tint - solutions other than to replace tint?

Default I mean they do use sharp tools to get the tint installed.

+1 post closer to 12K.

Do it. I doubt that the tint is the problem (but could be wrong).

Default Antenna booster may have gone bad

I had a similar problem (FM was horrible, didn't even work in my garage). I had already figure it was either the tint or the antenna booster. So I replaced the tint with ceramic tint (tint from previous owner was going bad, so I had to do it anyways), and that didn't help. Now I've replaced the antenna booster, and the radio reception is perfect. Problem is that the booster is a dealer only part and is ~$250. Pull the trim on the top back of the roof along the back window (it will feel like it's going to break, but those plastic clips are tough) and you should see the booster back there on the right side. If there's cracks in it, then it's bad.

2nd that. To the best of my knowledge, metallic tint only affects AM reception.
