I am another freak that would consider raising my car if I buy one since I drive tons of deep snow and dirt rocky roads. I refuse to buy an Allroad due to handling and gas mileage. I do like the stiffness of the sport pkg so will probobly get it, but worry about clearence? any feedback from owners?

Thanks! That's probably route I'll go. Do you think it would raise the car slightly or only provide a mushier suspension?

Much wider is not the answer, it affects steering feel, but 215/55s just seem to have the right proportions. Use a tire size calc to find a 1/2 size taller application, it will give more height w/o new springs (alignment nightmare!) Compare your desired size against the largest 18s and 19s sizes people use here. Try 215/60-16 or a 205/60 or 65-16 for B6.
