hi i cannot seem to find where this issue is coming from. it happened after i swapped exhaust and i thought it was exhaust leak but i have done everything you could think of with the exhaust to try fix the issue. I've tried wrapping the pipes where they join and get clamped down, and also jb weld, but still the issue exists.

i hear the rattle type noise kind of sounds like a garden sprinkler during acceleration. I cant reproduce the sound if the car is standing still and just rev it. nor is the sound present while cruising. i just hear it when accelerating and near a wall or parked cars usually make the sound more audible.

what else could it be if its not an exhaust leak?

rattling and a garden sprinkjler? I cant really tell what kind of sound your talking about. An ex leak will sound like a flutter in some cases... but is the rattling simply a vibration caused by an illmounted ex system? More information could help here-

The sound is like a garden sprinkler, the one that goes tsh tsh tsh. I've checked the exhaust. I've checked the exhaust multiple times and I still can't figure it out.

What does waste gate rattle sound like?

Fuel Filter or Fuel pump can make a humming noise from the rear portion of the vehicle.

fuel filter was replaced. its not a humming noise per se. i have narrowed it down to the front passenger side though.

I believe there is a heat shroud around the exhaust that will make this sort of sound if it is coming apart.

i found my rattle!!!! the gasket from turbo to test pipe was shot, and a nut came loose and fell off one of the bolts holding the test pipe to downpipe...

is there any way you can post a quick recording of the noise? I think my car has a similar noise and I would love to find out what it is!

its been so hard to try record that sound, the camera picks out other sounds. but if your in the car you can definitely hear it...

but i found my problem, which was the gasket between the turbo and testpipe(or cat) and a bolt on the downpipe to test pipe lost a nut so it was rattling too.
