Mondeo (keep in mind that they tested the non-quattro 1.8T) RESULTS:

-BMW and Audi are ahead of the rest by far in all aspects
-MB and the Ford have alot of catching up to do compared to the bimmer and Audi
-BMW has a better engine and chassis (50/50 wieght distribution) than the Audi
-Audi has better build quality, styling, amenities, and desireability. handling/performance is about equal to the bimmer.
-Audi comes up on top as #1 in the lot. BMW #2, I forgot about the order of the other 2 b/c I didn't really pay attention to them.

this was only a 1.8T without quattro that beat the pack...add quattro to the Audi and it'll blow the rest away....looking to see a comparo of the 3.0 to the 330i or 330ci, mb c-320, IS300, and X-type....next month hopefully

Yes, the bimmer and benz did too, the mondeo sport (or whatever) already came with it

it was the only copy on the rack at barnes and noble....the cover has the bimmer in the front with the other 3 cars in the background with a heading that said something like "which one is the best 3 series?" I guess from now on we can say "Which one is the best A4?" since the A4 won the comparo.
