Ready to pre-order a 350Z.. Any thoughts...
I was ready to either go with an A4 or a 325i coupe but this new Z really caught my eye the past few weeks. I'm ready to pull the trigger this week on a pre-order at MSRP. Some dealers are already marking it up. I really do not use my back seat much & my wife has a 4 door Accord
so we're covered there. I feel it's a lot of car for the $; Any comments on this new Z?

Looks sweet, I would go with the 350Z 'performance' setup...
Would be a nice fun car to have, but for me personally, I needed a car that could do it all: fun to drive, fit folks in the back (every so often), have space to haul stuff on occasional trips (trunk space), and a car that not everybody has. The 350Z sure would be an awesome car based on what I've heard, but to me its a little risky buying a car you never test drove, never mind looked at in person.
Also if I were to consider the Z I would HAVE to hold out for the new RX-8, it too looks sweet, and may be more 'practical' (4 doors).
In any event, I love me A4. Its a joy to drive and I grow fonder of it everyday. For example, my first drive tonight in dense fog left me SO impressed with the Xenon's (and fog lights) ability to cut through the fog versus my old halogens.
Anyway, good luck!
