Really pissed-off now. They compare to a Boxter, TT and 325*x*I in acceleration and cost to an allroad. Wake up, a TT is not about acceleration and an allroad is not about ~price~. I like how they have to roll out a pig-heavy 325 with AWD to out-accelerate it. When I see these comparison commercials and they indicate their car does ONE thing better, that tells me it does EVERYTHING else worse. $30k for a Subaru, yeah right, my B6 was less and could be tweaked.

our cars are german engineered. i think thats enough for me :-)
just remember suby has had its troubles in the past. they used to be shuned upon until the early/mid 90's
audi has stood strong and suby took their awd idea from day one. audi continues to set the bench mark for the majority of import cars out there

I have driven the new 2005 Legacy GT "Limited" and I would have to say that I was totally impressed with the performance and handling. For about $28,500 (after the discount) plus TT&L you can't go wrong with the new Subie. I chose an Audi (just bought a new A4) though for my wifes car because of the classy looks and the great interior styling...unbeatable in this segment in my opinion. The Legacy GT (5 spd MT) can hang with the S60R 6 spd MT and a Tiptronic S4, so the car has a ton of performance for the price...an STI version of the Legacy will be scary....can't wait!
