Default Really having a tough time deciding whether or not get the in-pro chrome mirror covers...
Not sure if they're a bit too shiny. Matte finish won't look good on light silver met., and I have a 1.8T, so I don't have the chrome window trim.

Thoughts please!

I wouldn't put them on a silver car...only work on dark colors IMHO.

Default i was just thinking the same thing... how would they look on a black 3.0 avant?
for you I would definitely recommend the satin finish

Default I disagree, the satin aluminum color mirror housings do not contrast with, but compliment
Brite Silver Metallic paint. Consider that the stock plastic mirror housings, do not clash or contrast with the Bright Silver Metallic, being the same color. The satin aluminum housings are lighter in color tone against the silver paint, and provide a pleasing highlight, not hard contrast.
The satin aluminum mirror housings compliment the silver paint, without excessive contrast that can be the case on darker colors.
