Default rear brake rotor question
ok, my car has 9.6"(245x10) rear rotors. ECS offers 9.6"(245x10)and 10.0"(255x10). does anyone know if the Bigger rotors bolt right up?

Default you'll need a different caliper carrier bracket
ECS sells the caliper carrier for the 255mm rotors.

thanks, i missed that. i wonder if the 10mm is worth the extra $. it's about $180 to upgrade.

Default I have both front & rear 3.0L brake rotors and caliper brackets, on my 1.8T....
Is it worth the cash?

For me yes it was.

Noticable improvement in braking over the 1.8T brakes, especially with the fronts. The rears add their smidge into overall braking performance. ;o)

go with B7 calipers/carriers, they should be cheap used

10mm here, 10mm there..... ya know. I'm happy with my 3.0 rears with Stoptech 332mm fronts.

Default ya, i have the 3.0 upgrade up front. i think i'll just keep the stock size out back.
maybe someday i'll find a S4 rear set-up for cheap.
