rear fog light? mine only a bulb is on...

Not sure what the question is, but here's an attempt...
If your unsure what the foglight is supposed to be/do, it's pretty simple, both in form and function. All the feature is, is an additional bulb in one of the taillamp assemblies. It "burns" brighter than any other lamp on the rear end for the purpose of making the car stand out more in bad weather. If its foggy, snowy, really rainy, the foglight gives a driver behind you a better opportunity to see your car before it's too late. BUT, don't use it unless visiblity is quite poor. Could get you a ticket/pulled over for a taillamp malufunction. Plus, it's just poor Audi ettiqute

Re: BTW fog lights for fog or blowing snow-white out conditions
According to US DOT, you can only have 1 rear fog to diffentiate from brake lights. European models have it on both sides. I used to have it on both sides in my 99 with an aftermaket tail light assembly. I'm sure they will come out with someting for the '02 if they haven't already.
