I have a p0421 code and the car is at Audi right now and I feel like they are trying to take me for a ride. I know the converter is under warranty... but is the o2 sensor if it is bad?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The dealer said the heater part of the o2 sensor is intermittently failing. He said its not covered under warranty but http://www.epa.gov/obd/warranties.htm says it is.

She is "looking into it" now.
EPA.gov clearly says "Exhaust Gas Conversion Systems: oxygen sensor, thermal reactor, catalytic converter, dual-walled exhaust pipe"

AoA eventually told me that the o2 sensor is covered under warranty and are more than happy to call the dealership if you'd like.
For me, it may be enough that I told him that AoA told me it was covered. He's checking with his warranty advisor. Seems like it might work out for the better.
My tires are bad though... awesome. Mine crack early and often apparently... GO BFGoodrich!
