i noticed this right after i bought the car about 6 months ago, the rear gap in the wheel wells is less than the front, maning the ride sits slightly lower in the back than the front. What am i most likely looking at having to replace, if anything?

That's what I was going to say, but wanted to look one more time at mine. Sure enough, the back looks lower. I measured both sides and they were the same, so I assume this is "normal". By the way, I have an 02 sport.

took a closer look at it today, realistically its probably somewhere between .25 in and .5 in. not all that bad but just obviously concerned me that my ride wasnt sitting level. if it seems to be normal though i guess i have nothing to worry about.

It's normal, they all look like this on stock sport suspensions to give the car a balanced, level look. If the gap was even front and back, it would have a raked look. Only fix is aftermarket suspension, so go get some coils, you'll be happier.
