I took delivery of my A4Q, 12 days ago, and the rear window fogs up a lot. The system is set to Auto (aircon on)so I don't understand why this happens. It never did on my previuos 3 Audi's, not even the 90 Coupe Q. And since the rear defogger is on a timer it's a drag to keep resetting it. Otherwise this is my best Quattro to date. The 1.8T is a great engine, but it needs a 5 spd to keep Frwy rev's down. I agree that the black "bottom" spoils the look of the car. Thats why I got black. Wanted Amulet (looks GREAT), but did'nt want to wait for the specs I wanted. P.S. I did look in the files re the rear window.

Of course I meant "it needs a 6 speed" Dahhh

Do you have it on econ mode? This turns off the compressor which means more moisture.

One last follow up. Did I see somewhere that you can take out the rear shelf. Because it is impossible to clean the bottom edge of the window. OK, I'm done!

I have been trying to figure out how to take out the rear shelf since I purchased my A4. Anyone have any ideas?
