Default recall letter (old news?)

I finally got a letter from Audi USA last night telling me to come in and get my coil packs replaced. I have a 2002 A4 3.0. Has the greater recall effort now started?

Default That's in line with what I was told when my CP's died at 22,000 miles.

I'm impressed that they made their announced target date. Though, for those of us who got stuck on the highway, I would really like some kind of Audi tchotchke (or shirt, mug, belt buckle, anything) as sort of a "sorry 'bout that". As well-intentioned as it was, the form letter from the regional VP didn't exactly make up for my missed afternoon of work...

Default dealer's making me wait 2 weeks for CP replacement

i understand making me wait if it were just regular maintenance, but it's a "recall"!!

Default I got a letter yesterday, too. But my car has a build date of 1/03.

Mine doesn't really say much, other than that they have accelerated the replacement process, and to bring my car in to the dealer. I thought that the failures were all fixed by build date 9/02? NE1 else get this letter with a later build date?
