Default Recommendations on new rotors and pads

Anyone have recommendations on new rotors and pads for my wife's 02 1.8tq? I've read good things about the Green Stuff pads but any other I should consider? Also rotors. As well, do you need to change the brake sensors when replacing the pads and rotors?

Any good online retailers to purchase through?

Thanks...

i think you mean mintex... not miltek as they are an exhaust company.

Default Big no on the mintex - bought some for mine - faded like a cheap t-shirt...

Fading was so severe that they were downright dangerous in panic stop situations. Yes that's right during the first panic stop they would go all greasy. Switched them out in a jiffy to Carbotech Bobcats - more expensive, but what's cheaper, brakes or sheetmetal and hospital bills?

Default 4b0-615-151-K pads (b6 standard for 1.8T and 3.0)

have the sensors inside of the pads... they are not separate nor can you buy them separately.

I happen to really like PBR ceramic pads for daily driving use. I'd check europartsdirect.com or if you want to buy from a tuner I'd order from mike kim of purems.com.

For rotors I'd look at either plain rotors or at the ATE powerdiscs.

I don't think you'll notice that much difference if any at all with stock pads.
