remote switch on for bose amp.....
I am replacing my Bose HU with a carputer project but keeping my bose amp/speakers. anyone know how to replicate the remote switch in for the amp in our cars? I have a bently so i can get to where i need to. Any advice is much appreciated.

just tap into any 12 volt accessory wire... You can find some in the driver side kick panel
by all the relays... if you ahve a voltmeter, just see which one comes up 12 volts when the key is turned and turns off when the key is off...

you mean by the fuse panel? Or behind it?
will it be a problem if i tap the power line (say for the homelink system, since its only on when the car is on), and then "tap" it back into the bose line behind the HU? is all that tapping going to interfere with the signal? also, i assume you mean the inline taps from "the shack"
