I just got back from Audi... Took my car in to get the remote trunk release fixed and the twittle noise my brakes where making over bumps. They said there was a kit to fix the noise for the brakes and they added that. When it came to the trunk... they said that was a different story. They told me that some "epoxy" must of got into the trunk door and got into the actuator for the remote open and caused it to break. I have no clue how this could of happened and the "epoxy" they showed me, I always thought was white grease they had put on the lock. They told me it might have been put on when I installed my XM radio but all i did for that was put the wire in... no epoxy was used and I don't know how i would of gotten it on the physical lock. I can still use the key to open the trunk and the inside lever.

soooo does anyone know how to take the liner off the trunk door? I want to take a look at it... and maybe i can fix it myself.... the car is still under warranty so maybe i should just take it to the next level and keep complaining... they told me to fix it would be about $300.00

any advice would be greatly appreciated....

are they saying its your fault so its not covered under warranty?!? sounds like waranty should cover
