Replacing the armrest?

I did a search... didn't find anything (except creaking, removing cupholders, and interference with the parking brake).
My center armrest creaks... put your arm on it... it creaks... take your arm off of it... it creaks...
I like the arm rests in my Camry and SLK better, which don't move up and down, are integrated with the center console and just have a door to access the bin inside. The minivan has fold down armrests but they are attached to the seats! In none of these cars does the armrest interfere with the parking brake. For those of us with wrist pain (from typing too much...) it's very awkward to twist one's arm around to pull up the brake lever.
Anyone know of any good, solid, non-moving arm rests that can replace the existing B6/A4 armrest? Just something with a bin covered by something with a soft pad... Probably something like what BMW offers as an accessory on the 3-series.

And you'd lose the bin. It would solve the e-brake issue, though (and it probably doesn't creak)...

You'd think that someone would've come up with something for VWs/Audis since the armrest does suck! (Of couse, B6 is only starting it's 3rd year?)

But due to the height of the center tunnel and the e-brake handle, you're not going to get storage space and no interference without raising the height of the whole armrest assembly. That would suck, because the armrest would be too high and uncomfortable.
My solution is to put the armrest up when I'm driving around town and shifting a lot and only use it when I'm cruising on the highway. I also installed a taller shift **** for when the armrest is down so I can get better leverage when I need it.
