Default Replacing ECU housing box?

How difficult is it to replace? I've already been in there and have repaired a cracked piece of the housing, but if I can replace it, I'd feel better. Seems like a bunch of wire harnesses toward the front of the box, plus the relay housings and then the two ECU or ECM harnesses that go into the unit. Seems like you have to get the security screws out, remove the ECU shield, and then take them out. Seems like the housing is easy enough to remove, but I'm wondering about the wiring going through there past the fire wall and anything else I don't know about. Anyone have details or photos or video?
