which one would have higher resale value? what are (have been) the ratios b/w people getting Tip vs 5-spd? I remember reading somewhere, prolly on this site, that more than 40%(?) A4 owners (prev gen) have 5-spd. does that number affect the value of the car? consiering the Tip cost more in the first place...
and one more thing - Sunroof, how would that affect? I suppose most A4s come with em. anyone got one w/o it? I can survive w/o having one though.
in my other post, somone mentioned that the Avant is "more aerodynamic" because of the longer roof - what does that means?
TIA![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
off topic, I sat in the new Forester, it had a humongous sunroof, while in the driver's seat, it felt almost like a convertible; the rear passengers have a good view, esp in CBDs looking up at tall buildings.

3.0 loaded or close to loaded, might be better with a Tip. Used Audi buyers are either enthusiasts looking for a sports car, or older luxury car buyers who appreciate Audi, but aren't raving car nuts. Sunroofs are found in over 90% of the cars. People expect that. A few extreme car enthusisats or very tall people won't want it, but everyone else will want it.
Colour is another factor. White, burgundy, green are all luxury type colours. Silver, red, black and blue are sporty colours.
You need to look at it as a whole package. On the other hand, are you buying the car for yourself, or the next owner ? If you don't get some weird combo, the resale difference between options isn't going to matter a great deal.
