Default I noticed that this particular run was done with an upgraded 4.5Bar fpr on a B5 A4. Unfortunately...

the B6 cars don't have that option since the fpr resides in the fuel filter. This causes the vehicle to just simply and run out of fuel up top. If we replaced the injectors on this vehicle and install new software like you have on all your comparison runs, we would be able to increase the boost which would in term increase the output of the vehicle, and with the FMIC helping to maintain the air intake temps, we would see much more favorable results as much as 5-10HP. But unfortunately the average owner has an upgraded chip without the optional injectors and since they can't mess with the fpr on the B6's we wanted to show how much they would gain out of the car in stock form referring to the fuel system. We do plan on doing an injector upgrade run to see how much more could be squeezed of this vehicle but that won't be for a while as we are focusing on production and delivery of our product.

p.s. you have some beautifully made products.

Default Excellent SMIC's. They even included ducting. Plus note to DLSJ5...

And they have real tech write ups.

Drew, check out the link but, man, do I now have a better understanding of your point about good SMIC's (being better than even the best FMIC, of course).

I gotta get me one (or two) of these. <ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/info/content_window.cfm?content=18">Why AWE didn't use an FMIC</a></li></ul>

Default The results of our FMIC was 132.8 degrees fahrenheit with the ambient temps 71.6degrees fahrenheit

@ 7K. Just a quick conversion to make it easier. We speak fahrenheit but our cars speak celsius :-).

Default Can you believe it, I totally agree...

That a great dual setup exsists. Shawn, get those S4 or even better RS4 Duals and you'll be right there with all the FMIC crowd! : ) I think Todd at AWE has Watercooled Duals, that would be the real deal. However, Achtuning told me they're FMIC for the S4 outperformed the RS4 duals by 30HP, they came in second in the European Car S4 challenge BTW. : )
