Default RNS-E question...

I'm checking Navplus too but maybe someone can help here. I'm looking to buy a used unit that was a Euro unit flashed(?) over to US spec. My main question is what are the differences between a US unit and a US flashed Euro unit? Is anyone on here running a US flashed Euro unit? Will it still show everything in miles and not KM's? Anything else I should know? TIA

Default Some answers

what are the differences between a US unit and a US flashed Euro unit?
Functionality-wise, none.

Is anyone on here running a US flashed Euro unit?
Many people are doing it, but I'm not sure how many are here.

Will it still show everything in miles and not KM's?
Changable via VAG-COM. (I think it's even changable via UI, but I'm not running out to my car in hellish freezing rain to confirm this for you. :-p)

Anything else I should know?

WORKS fine, you will not know it's a EU unit.

It works fine once you flash the firmware. You won't know its a EU unit except the little button that says 'TV.' I just did this install in my car and couldn't be happier. You should pay about 750-800 for a EU unit...you end up saving $ over the USA original ones. Just be sure to pick a reputable seller with lots of feedback if you're buying off of Ebay, or go to navplus.us
