I need a roof rack sooner rather then later to hold one snowboard and a pair of skis. I checked clairparts.com and I like Audi OEM which is I think made by Thule, but there other options available. Who have some experience, pros/cons regarding mounting, taking down, ease of operation, noise etc.
Thanks!

Works great, no problems with the fairing fitting on the windshield like I had with my old Passat. No problems with it so far...Pieced it together on eBay for significantly less than it would have ran me buying at a local store or from Thule.

I don't know where you live, but if there is an REI store close by or you don't mind buying on the web go to REI.COM. Their prices on Yakima are better than most bike shops. As far as Thule vs.Yakima, Thule has come a long way to catch up. It realy depends on what you will use the rack for. Consider present and future needs. Then price both. I bought Yakima, but that was before Thule really had anything comparable.
