Default I have over 6000 miles logged with the Stage 2 setup...

I don't notice any 1st gear squeal. Check my link for answers about chatter (practically none). It's a solid setup.

For the miles logged, it includes track time at Mid-Ohio (2 solid days), some fun runs, highway driving (to and from work), and some local city driving. The only thing I haven't done was to take it to a local drag strip to get some 1/4 times.

It took a while to get used to the lower engagement setting from the clutch pedal, but it wasn't any harder to engage or disengage than the stock clutch.

If you're ever in the Northeast Ohio area, let me know and I'll let you try it out. =)<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/859820.phtml">Comments on chatter</a></li></ul>

Default It all depends...

If I'm in the driver's seat, I'll never hear it with the windows closed (good soundproofing by Audi engineers).

With the windows open, I normally don't hear it. If I get out with it running, I'll hear it slightly, but I have to be by the front of the car. If the AC is running, then it will be slightly louder.

The only time it was really noticeable was just after coming off a session at the track where I was on an downward incline and allowing the engine to run for a while for cool down (was using jack stand as a wheel chock to keep it from rolling away).

Most of the time, I don't hear it. Only the sweet sound of the engine and exhaust note. =)
