I noticed my car has a few dents in the fender/doors and poorly blended paint touchup. After a good scrubbing and parking it in the garage I really saw the problem.
Brought it to my salesguy's attention that day. This afternoon picking up plates, I pointed them out to him. I felt like I got a brushoff.
The 300 point CPO Checklist covers the fenders/doors but leaves an opened ended "Meets Audi Requirements: Yes/No/Repaired". For all I know, Audi's requirement could be that it holds paint off the ground.
So could these non-mechanical issues be something missed as part of the CPO Certification and repaired?
This has been my only real rub. The car is a blast to drive and looks sharp.
Thanks for any help...

I don't mean to be rude, but how did you miss them at time of purchase? That's the time to point out to sale guy and either go for another vehicle that's cleaner, or get some addtl cash off.
Going back after the fact is a tough go. It's at the dealer(or dealer's body shop) discretion how to repair or touch up minor dings as part of the inspection process.
These are used cars, after all. So some wear and tear is to be expected. I think if you push the dealer though, they may try and make it look better. I wouldn't get into a lot of paintwork because you will have other potential problems associated with that.

also there were some other scratches on the inside I missed too....my point is when you're shopping for a new car you tend to miss things because of that "eurphoria" effect.
I agree that he's probably not going to get much help unless he really makes some noise.

I hear ya.
I had a couple tiny nicks and mine was new! Stuff happens on the lot. Best to get it off there and don't go back.

And it was already getting dark when I went to pick it up. Didn't really see the big one until I saw it after I washed it up.
And I couldn't really negotiate. They gave me a great deal to get out of my old car and this was the only manual B6 in this part of the state.
I just want to see what I should have had. Everything else like interior wear I'm OK with.
Oh- when I bought it up the next day, it sounded like fixing it wouldn't be a big deal... may have gotten bigger?
But I have to live with these guys. The shop is 1 mile from my house!
