Default S4 seats for my A4

Hi All,
I have read a couple of threads here about people who have installed S4 Recaro's into their A4's. I have seen a couple of these offered on ebay in Germany.
But I also read that a couple guys have ordered them through their Audi dealers.
I asked my local Audi dealer about this and he tells me that the S4 seats are not availabel "as a whole seat" but only available in many, many pieces and would be rediculously expensive if purchased that way.
So.....I am hoping that one of you who have been able to purchase these S4 Recaro's from their Audi dealer can help and point me in the right direction.

I want to purchase the B6 S4 recaro seating form my 2005 B6 A4.

Thank you in Advance!

Default I found one for sale at Dad's Auto recycling in NorCal...

They wanted $1K for it. I passed. I also heard that you cannot buy a complete seat.

I too would love to get rid of the bland B6 A4 seats and put in some B6 S4 seats.

Default Something to work with here!

Make seat brackets yourself.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;category=33701&amp;item =7977922567&amp;rd=1">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;category=33701&amp;item =7977922567&amp;rd=1</a</li></ul>

Thanks German Driver. But I would prefer to keep all of my stock Audi features (air bags, power everything, heated, etc etc) and have it be "plug and play". So for this it seems to me the best option is to use B6 S4 seating.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the input.

How long ago did you find them?
And what is "Dad's" contact info?

Default I want to do the same thing...

Went to the dealer and priced out all the parts for the seats and they came out to around $2500 for the set. I'm not sure if they're missing any major parts, but I do know that doesn't include airbags. Will the airbags from our normal seats swap into the S4 ones?
