Default S60 T5 vs. A4 3.0

Hey all, I know you will all be biased, but I'm probably a little biased towards Audi too. I've been looking into leasing a 3.0 for some time now, and will most likely be doing so in the next month or two when the lease rates get a little better, (from what I've been told). However, I just started to consider the S60 T5. I like the exterior styling, (the interior is a different story), but I also like the 247hp! I guess you can chip it and get up to 300hp. The leases look pretty comparable. The Audi, however, has AWD, while the T5 is FWD. I also really like the two-tone interior you can get in the T5, even if the Dash design is less than desireable. What do you guys think? I don't think that I would ever be disappointed getting the Audi, but the Volvo may be a different story. It's unfortunate that the Audi is so dang common out here (Colorado).

Default Colorado ? AWD a huge +. Rent the Volvo from Hertz.

Yes, it will be the lower powered version, but you'll know if you can live with it from a practical standpoint.

The turbo in the S60 T5 (or 2.4T AWD) should also help with high altitudes right?

I think this is something you can't really compare on paper... Drive both and get a feel for them

Default Nope. Toured through much of the state a few times.

You are right, all the cars seem to be Audi Subaru or Range Rover ( Aspen ).

Default I'll bet the Avant is not as common!

wifey has had good luck with the 2.4 s60, but the ride is far inferior to my A4.

Default Yep . .

I'm in Boulder, so not quite as many Range Rover (still a decent amount though), but definitely a lot of Audi and Subaru. I hate seeing every little rich girl with her audi and not even knowing if it's a 1.8t or a 3.0 - almost always a 1.8t, though, as their Dad's know their little girl won't know the difference! Ha, Ha!!
