Default Satillite Radio
So the sales guy tells me that I have the Bose system in my car. From what I read on Audi's site, the Bose system only comes with the Satillite radio. Does this mean that I have Satillite radio? Or is it that my stereo is ready for Satillite radio and I need to subscribe. Please help out this newbie. Thanks.

Have fin? You have it - you just need to subscribe - give your "sales guy" a call.

Default I thought activation and the first two months came with the car?
If that's the case, try it out and see if it is worth continuing.

Default I could be wrong - but I think you have to have some equipment installed
plus the activation.

Default Not true - even with fin - need to have reciever installed if you didn't get it initially
It's simply plug in, subscribe and listen.

Default correction: Have quattro? THEN you have it on 04s with Infotainment Package
Infotainment Package (quattro-equipped models only) Bose 215-watt premium sound system with
Sirius® or XM® satellite radio.

Default Fin is on non-infotainment 04's as well with symphony II stereo
I have the fin (love it too) and no infotainment or Satellite delete or Bose.

Default probably for the on-star option. As I understand it, the FIN is on all USA 04 A4/S4 models
except for a few early release cars (I guess).
