Default SBS Pro-Touring brake pad review

I burned up my first set of SBS Pro-Track pads and decided to try out the Pro-Touring pad for city based driving.

The Pro-Track pad is SBS combination track/daily driver pad. When cold it can squeal a bit but once you get them hot they stop great. The hotter you get them the better they stop.

I bedded in the Pro-Touring pad and the next day I warmed them up to see what they can do.

When they are cold they are silent but they stop about the same whether they are hot or cold.

When I have to compare the two I actually prefer the Pro-Track pad as it does bite a lot better and stops the car sooner than the Pro-Touring pad.

But if you don't drive like a madman like I do and want a nice quiet pad that does stop well then check out the SBS Pro-Touring.
