Default Scary experience . . . .

I was approaching a left turn when the light turned yellow. It was all clear so I gave it some gas (I was in 3rd gear and was doing ~60-70km/h), not that fast. As I'm about 3/4 into the left turn and just past the median of the 2 lane street I was turning into, the car begins to skid sideways (almost like drifting). I can hear the wheels screaching and the car is sliding sideways, I end up in the right hand lane instead of the left hand lane I was urning into. I steer the wheel more to the left and abruptly apply the brakes. The car snaps back into my control and I missed the curb by about 6". As I was skidding I had a mental image flash into my brain, I imagined my front right wheel popping off and my suspension ripping apart.

Anyways, I was just a little shaken up after this happened and was relieved nothing happened. The cars never done this to me before and I've pushed it a lot harder. I just accepted it as a blessing as today's my birthday, I guess someones watching over me (even if its our ESP)! Just thought I'd share my experience with you!

Default thats crazy, I can't even get the car to go sideways with ESP on. Off is another story though.

Default Fortunately, I took my summer wheels off on friday!

We already had a dusting of snow last week, I was coming home from a friends house close by and I was skidding everywhere with my summer wheels. So I took them off and put on the all seasons. Never got around to taking pics, sorry ced, ill make up for it next summer.

Default wow, deja-vu...

Almost identical scenario happened to me on Saturday. I'm assuming some wet leaves, in addition to my having just got past some a**hole driver going 2 miles per hour.
Just a little too much gas!
