Default Seat creaking / ticking noise

Finally got rid of the seat creaking & ticking noise yesterday when my dealer fitted two new front seat frames.

Everything inside is quiet and peaceful once again!!

Default I've had a creaking drivers seat for about 8 months now. They sprayed...

a lubricant between the back panels of the seat. The idiots thought this would fix things. Where was your creak coming from? I think mine is coming from the electric lumbar. Everytime I push my weight into the back of the seat it creaks.

Any thoughts?

Default If anyone else is having this problem, please post here so I'll have proof when I go to the dealer..

I'm taking mine in over the next few weeks and hopefully they will fix the problem. It's driving me crazy. I took it in once and - of course - it wasn't doing it when they took the test drive. At least now I can show them that others are experiencing this as well.

Thanks

Default Same problem here

Mine seems to come and go.
When I get back to the dealer for the service check up I'll ask. But yes it is annoying as hell. Seems to be my lumbar also.

Default Man...

I've been complaining of the same thing since I purchased my car keep getting told 'we are not able to replicate the problem'.

The crazy thing is, my Jetta had the exact same problem and they replaced the seat frame first time I mentioned it. No problem again afterward.

My dealer seems to disregard sites like Audiworld. They see it as just blowing steam. Nice eh?

Default I've had the same problem since the car was new...

and one time the dealer did something to the panel on the side where the seat controls are and that stopped it for awhile. Now it's back and the dealer said they can't duplicate. I think I've figured out the right position to be in to get it creak on command.

Default Re: Seat creaking / ticking noise

They did the same thing for me, but only for the drivers seat. It's stlll clunk-free 7000 miles later.
