Default seat question

Hi everyone, I have a 2004 and need some advice. I have attached pictures here so you can see my driver's side seat and back passenger's seat. I am not sure what my options are for "fixing" this. Seeing as this in an older car, it wouldn't make sense have them reupholstered. What can I do about this? 3M has a vinyl repair kit but I am not sure if this would do the job. Thanks!

That's beyond repair. You can get seat covers in all price ranges, or go to a wrecking yard or eBay and get the front and back seats for a couple of hundred. Mind whether your seats are power and remember if they have airbags in them to be careful.

Thank you for the information. I have been looking at buying a whole seat and so far it looks like $300 on ebay, that's a hard pill to swallow seeing as this is a 12 year old car!

If you think $300 is "a hard pill to swallow" in an 04 Audi, you're either good at swallowing hard pills or a brand new owner in for some practice in that respect. 😊

You also have the option of finding a reupholster shop that specializes in cars. Not sure of the pricing, but you will have a wide variety of choices / prices and someone local if you have issues.

And yes, our cars are expensive, but if well maintained, a great drive. I have reinherited my sons 03 A4, fixing some things that have lingered on it. I have been driving it recently and keeping the S5 in the garage...
