It seems the SUV drivers are having issues these days. Seems to me Audi is an excellent alternative

to an SUV.
I see these bumper stickers on SUV's in my neighborhood.
Check out these links.

"tagging" someone else's car is a bit over the top, imo.
And honestly, I think most of these people could give a **** less about what they are doing with their SUV. They want their perceived "power," "control," "invincibility," and "commanding view of the road."
The fad will die soon enough.

now she has seen the new Hummer H2 and wants that badly next year. She has had about 4 suburbans since the 80's, with her most recent being a 2002 Yukon XL, but the quality of the yukon is terrible, it is always having problems. This was the main reason she was gonna look towards audi (she loves my warranty/service warranty), but alas, the s6 avant is not "big" enough for her....

I agree that it's a bit retarded for some suburban mom to get an H2 so she can drive over cars at the local mall, but in the end it's HER money. People need to get a life, more specifically that woman driving the H2 AND the idiot putting the anti-SUV stickers all over it.
And sorry to burst everyone's bubble but it's not a fad. It's the natural progression of vehicles. It's like saying big houses and McMansions are fads and someday we'll all go back to wanting to live in 1600 sq ft ranch homes. Whatever.

I think that wagons are much more practical than SUV's. Maybe this car (as shown on the cover of Car & Drivers's Feb issue) is an indication of what will be in the showrooms in a few years, I can only hope!

It's not that I care about the environment enough to switch, but I've always loved the fun I could have in small sports sedans. My first car was a BMW 535i.
