Selective locking, windows via remote... can anyone tell me the codes? TIA
I would like to reprogram my car to unlock all doors with one push of the remote, and operate the windows/roof from the remote.
I've looked at the Ross Tech info, but don't really understand how to calculate the actual codes.
What are the actual code #'s that I give to my dealer? TIA!

You'd want to give them 11848 for the central convenience controller coding
I also highly recommend the automatic locking via speed (i.e. doors lock when you go over 8MPH or so), which would be 11880 with those other two features.

It's a liability issue...
Imagine, for example, if you were rolling up the windows with the remote and some kid sticks his/her hand in the way. Could be a problem. This is why dealers really aren't supposed to reprogram the added features. Of course, you can usually find some way around that.

11900 if you also want to turn on...
...automatic door locking above ~20 MPH and rear door unlocking block above ~20 MPH (just in case junior tries to bail on the freeway).
Woofpup - do you have better explanations for what the top three items (4096, 8192, and 16384) do? Uwe's explanations are vague.

Re: 11900 if you also want to turn on...
Well, Audi used to have insulated glass on some of the old models (I'm not sure if they still do), so the 16384 insulate-glass option is probably related to that. I was trying to find out if there was anything with the insulated glass that would require the convenience control module to know it was installed, but didn't find much. Maybe it's similar to the heated windshield opton?
The other two I have no idea about. I thought the 8192's no SAFE-function was related to how the owner's manual mentions that in the U.S., the radio may not go into SAFE mode during battery disconnections and therefore require a code to be entered, but that should be independent of the convenience control module anyway. (...and the radio does go into SAFE mode if you pull the fuse, so the manual seems incorrect anyway.)

More liability...
Let's say there's some emergency and you need to get out of the car, quick. There's bound to be some troublemaker out there who'll claim that his Audi locked him in his car and who'll make a big deal out of it. True, doors unlock automatically after airbag deployment but let's say that didn't happen and he just needed out of the car.
