so today i was installing my neuspeed ss, and the one of the bolts started to strip. and now the bolt is gone and my shifter is mess up badly. if anyone has any ideas as how to fix this please respond back. the only think i can think of is just to chop the top of the bolt and try to tap the screw again. with it out.
oh yea the loctite worked so well that when i tryed to tap the screw, the screw tapper broken off as i was turning it.

The loctite sure works though and I decided not to use any when I reassembled it all as I knew I needed to make some fine tuning adjustments.
I rather check and tighten the bolts every so often than lock them into place again.
Anyway if you are ablw to remove that screw you can just replace it with a 6mm hex bolt and use a socket driver to tighten it down instead. I did this in order to reduce the chance of stripping the head again.

Here are a few to try...
Then after extraction, just go purchase a new bolt or if you have the bolt-socket clearance, go the <i>MC Hammered</i> way.
Good luck.<ul><li><a href="http://www.globalair.com/discussions/ac_tool/article.asp?msgID=17">http://www.globalair.com/discussions/ac_tool/article.asp?msgID=17</a</li></ul>

They offer cheaper, smaller kits as well.<ul><li><a href="http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&am p;pid=00952162000">Here.</a></li></ul>

i ended up going to dremel way and just cut the bolt off. it was another excuse for me to buy a dremel tool since i always wanted one. but getting back on track, it took me a good 3 hours to get it off since the i had to chop the top of the bolt. once that was out. it was a matter of just tapping the shifter out. and i just vice griped the remaining screw out. and redid the install.
the install of the shifter was quite quick. something along the lines of 45mins-1hr. what took long was the cutting of the bolt. oh yea i used MC Hammered's idea of using a hex bolt instead.
