Default Has anyone on here installed the euro manual leveling switch??

I have been looking around for a set of xenon headlights. I prefer e-codes, but OEM DOT spec xenons will do. I thought about just adding the ballasts and bulbs with the philips kit from SPP, but I would rather plug and play. Has anyone installed the manual leveling switch, nothing cam up in my search. TIA

Default Yes, but YMMD...

This is more complicated than it looks. You still need the autoleveler motors. My implementation is using a PIC microcontroller and a dual digital potentiometer to trim the voltages coming back from the hall effect level sensors. This controls the level default aim (low, normal, high, higher). I got close but I'm going to need to do more testing. I didn't get the front to rear proportional balance right.

Without the sensors you have to still set up a control circuit to drive the motors. You'll probably need different motors and control unit.

Yes, but you can use the plug/wiring off a Cabrio. You've got to tap into some wires.

Default You'll still need the motors, the control unit, and some wiring. You may not...

...get it right the first time. This will cost even more as ou swap parts in and out. Such be the fate of either a pioneer or a mad modder.

Default whoa, maybe you can answer this question

I had stock halogens, and I swapped them with full xenon e-codes.... now I don't have autoleveling... will that manual switch work?

Not without the servo motors and the controller.
