Hey all, I'm going to soon be a proud owner of an 02 A4 1.8TQ... converting over from Saab SPG land.
I was wondering if anyone had pics of the brilliant black ext with beige leatherette interior lying around?
My dealership is having issues finding the black/black car I specified but came upon a black/beige one... all other options in tact.
How does the beige leatherette look? The image on audi's site is pretty small and sparse. I'm especially concerned with the aesthetic with the aluminum trim?
thanks in advance

I heard the talk about how the aluminum did not look good with the beige interior, but I disagree. I think it looks great. Black paint on the other hand is a pain in the ***, but you knew that already.

Black with beige is a CLASSIC European combination. I tried to get one, but my dealer could only find black with grey or black. I didn't want either. Finally, he was able to track down an Ebony Pearl with beige. Picking it up tomorrow. HOT combination!

Although the darker interior (blue, black, etc) look better with the aluminum, the beige still works well. I have to admit though, the look grew on me.
The black on beige combo is very classy though. Either way, black/black or black/beige, you can't go wrong.
Good luck.

See a lot of Passats around - the V6 (Down Under, the luxury-spec model with chrome trims) looks absolutely awesome in solid black with beige trim - although the beige is lighter than the Audi beige.

Must disagree on the Ebony vs Bril black. Ebony looks stunning! It is an elegant black. The BB is also beautiful but you don't get the depth of colour/sparkle that ebony offers.
Of course, I'd take Ming Blue too...three colours I could live with! (with most cars, it's only one).

BB has depth, the Ebony has a great surface effect to it. Metallic paint can never look as "deep" as a non-metalic. The sparkles make you focus on the surface of the car.
That being said, I like Ebony and it looks better for longer in between washes than BB.
