Should I get 16" BBS for $550 or 17" S4 Avus wheels w/ tires for ~$800? 1 hr to decide. For Summer.

I am not desperate for wheels but I like the Avus, I think I can get a good deal in the $700-$800 range, esp with tires. These BBS are my favorite aftermarket style, If I only had one set, they would be it. I already have those 16" Twin-Spoke Audi wheels and all-seasons and extra set of 17" Summers would be cool and save my a/s tires. If I got the BBS, I would have to find a set of bald smokers or buy some basic tires for Summer. Should I move up to the 17" Avus w/Summers???

That is a tough call. I think you have the non-sport suspension so I would stick with 16" rims. If you plan to lower your car then go with 17" inch rims.
I have the 16" rims and I want the 17" but I saw a few posts with 17" on a non-sport and the car looks like a truck. So when I add the 17" rims I need to lower the car.
So in a nut shell...
16" non-sport
17" sport
18" aftermarket drop/coilovers
just my 2 cents hope it helps

I might pass on the Avus, but I do like the BBS. I have the non-Sport.

I would switch my all-season to them. I have felt the difference between wheels before, usually diferent sizes though. Had a set of Fondmetals-like lead, slowed my T.A.P. 10v quattro down.

unless I'm getting some tires too. I wanna just bolt something on, not shop for tires. Tick-tock, when is the APR chip coming out?

Stop the madness! That's why I got all-seasons to begin with, less hassle. My current wheels are cool and I have 5 of them. I'll just wait 'till (next) Winter and get my 15" snows like a good boy. What if the APR chip is serious 200+hp power? Then I might actually want the 17" Avus.
